A portfolio that lets the photographs lead.
Ravin Photography covers weddings, engagements, portraits, sport, pets, landscapes, drone work and commercial shoots across Nova Scotia. The website had to hold all of that without feeling like a catalogue, and still make it easy for a couple to check whether their date is free.
What the website does
- Opens on full-bleed, cinematic photography with a short, confident headline
- Separates weddings and engagements from eight photography categories, fine-art prints and a journal
- Keeps one clear next step on every page: check your date
- Explains pricing and common questions on their own pages
What we built
- Editorial type system pairing a high-contrast serif with a clean sans
- Category pages for people, sports, pets, places, drone/FPV, commercial and editorial work
- Journal with long-form posts for search, such as posing guides
- Local-business and photographer structured data, a sitemap and an llms.txt summary
- Consent banner with analytics preferences
