A large index that still feels easy to browse.
Agent Search Engine is an independent directory of AI agents, MCP servers and developer frameworks. It holds hundreds of listings, so the job was to make search, browsing and comparison feel quick, and to give every listing a page that search engines and AI assistants can understand.
What the website does
- Puts search first, with a keyboard shortcut and suggested starting points
- Organises the index by category, use case, alternatives and best-of lists
- Offers side-by-side comparisons, field guides, reports and a public changelog
- Explains its ranking methodology and accepts new submissions
